Thrive Time was created by families, for families.

We believe children thrive when families, schools, and programs work together. We also believe that families are partners in a child’s success. Open communication and connection with parents are important to us, and we want every family to feel informed, welcomed, and confident in their child’s experience at Thrive Time.

Our goal is to create a program where children can continue learning, exploring, and building friendships while feeling comfortable in a familiar school setting.

Team

We are parents ourselves, raising children right here in the Treasure Valley. Like many families, we understand that choosing after-school care is a big decision.

Thrive Time programs are operated by trained, background-checked staff and follow all state childcare licensing requirements. Our team is committed to maintaining safe environments, clear communication with families, and consistent daily routines that help children feel comfortable and supported.

Jill & Justin Bertelsen

Founders

Jill and Justin Bertelsen are entrepreneurs who previously built and successfully sold an early childhood education technology company. Through their work, they have presented at more than ten early childhood education conferences, sharing insights on supporting educators and improving learning environments for young children. Originally from the Treasure Valley, they remain committed to building programs that support schools, students, and families in the communities they care about.

Brittany & Ty Weber

Community Partnerships

Brittany and Ty Weber are active members of the Thrive Time team and bring a strong commitment to supporting families throughout the Treasure Valley. Both work in the nursing field and understand the importance of dependable, trustworthy care for working families. As parents raising their own family locally, they are excited to help support a program that provides safe, reliable after-school options for the community.

Jessica Brewer

Director of Childcare Programs

Jessica Brewer supports Thrive Time’s on-campus programs through site oversight, operations, and school partnerships. As a mother of three living in the Treasure Valley, she understands the daily balance families face between work, school schedules, and childcare needs. Jessica works closely with schools and program staff to help ensure programs run smoothly and families stay informed and connected.
